A communications specialist and professional writer with more than 30 years experience, I offer writing, editing and photography services — and coaching related to these areas.
Now based in Regina, Saskatchewan, I’ve lived and worked across Canada, and have held staff communications-related roles from Editor and Webmaster to Consultant and Communications Director for government and non-governmental organizations.
I have also freelanced for a wide range of trade, consumer and corporate magazines.
A former reporter with The Vancouver Sun, my business publications range from newspaper, online and magazine articles to corporate documents, newsletters, speeches and reports, and feature a wide array of internal and employee-focused communications consulting plans and related materials.
I hold two graduate degrees in writing (MA/Journalism and MFA/Creative Writing), and my poetry, fiction and non-fiction have appeared in leading Canadian literary publications across the country.
My photographs can be seen here (including the water droplet, above) and on the blogs linked to this site.
I am a member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (and the current Saskatchewan Region President), and the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild, as well as a board member of the Sage Hill Writing Experience.
A highly skilled writer, editor and communications strategist, I am available for writing, editing and coaching assignments — and for the right client, I’m also available for communications and public relations consulting work.
